About The Role
Crowd Strike Falcon Host is a two‑component security product. One component is a lightweight agent installed on client machines that observes system activity and recognizes malicious behavior. The cloud component aggregates telemetry for each customer’s network, correlates malicious behavior across machines, and presents a prioritized threat summary.
This is a Software Development Engineer (SDE) role in the engineering team that delivers the sensor (lightweight agent) on Windows, Linux, and macOS.
What You’ll Do- Lead engineering efforts and work with Product Management to define the scope of work.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across geographically distributed product groups.
- Design and develop user‑mode software for deployment on Windows and other systems.
- Own features from design to delivery.
- Troubleshoot product issues reported by customers responsively.
- Develop software for Falcon Discover and other assigned products.
- Strong C++ skills for Windows OS, demonstrated through experience or community projects.
- 2‑5 years of experience shipping major features and releases.
- Effective communication and collaboration in a distributed team.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Mac and Linux OS development experience is a plus.
- Experience building cybersecurity related products is a plus.
- Experience developing product code with high concurrency and reliability requirements.
- B.S. degree in a related field.
