Senior Backend Engineer

Founded in 2017, Room Price Genie  helps hoteliers around the world optimize pricing through an AI‑powered algorithm that analyzes internal hotel data and market trends. Our platform lets hotels set the right prices in seconds, driving revenue growth and better booking rates.

• Collaborate with a talented team of ML, Backend, and Data Engineers to build innovative solutions using Python and Django/FastAPI.
• Scale our architecture to support increasing users, features, and data volumes, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Partner closely with Product and Design teams, owning projects from conception through post‑deployment in a dynamic, collaborative setting.
• Foster a strong engineering culture and development environment that encourages creativity, excellence, and continuous improvement.

• 3+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Advanced expertise in Django and FastAPI for building robust applications.
• Proven experience developing and deploying CI/CD pipelines for efficient delivery.
• Strong understanding of software design principles that promote quality and maintainability.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
• High ownership mentality and a self‑starter attitude.
• Team player who thrives in an egoless, empathetic environment.
• Reporting as an Individual Contributor to the RM Engineering Manager.
• Fluent in English, comfortable in technical discussions.
• Based in the European Time Zone (UTC+0 / UTC+2) to align with the team’s schedule.

• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake, AWS, Data Dog, Celery & Rabbit
  
  MQ, Num Py, Sci Py, React, Type Script, and GenAI on Databricks.
