• Build and integrate AI-powered backend features that adapt and learn in production
• Extend APIs and data workflows that connect models to real users
• Apply best practices in prompt design, orchestration, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
• Collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to deliver secure, scalable systems
• Write clean, tested code while upholding best practices for reviews and deployment

• 3+ years of experience building backend or cloud-native software systems (preferably in AWS)
• Strong Python skills and experience with modern web/API frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask
• Curiosity for AI/ML, with experience exploring LLMs, orchestration frameworks, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
• Commitment to quality, including writing maintainable, tested code and thriving in collaborative reviews

• Experience with data processing tools like PySpark, Pandas, or Polars
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (using Git Lab) and infrastructure-as-code (using Terraform)
• A habit of turning new discoveries into reusable knowledge for the team
