What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Lead the technical direction for healthcare data exchange, including drafting roadmaps and setting priorities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new platform capabilities and innovative services
• Build large-scale APIs and microservices to facilitate real-time data access for patients and providers
• Mentor fellow engineers to enhance team productivity and uphold coding standards
• Pioneer innovative strategies in healthcare tech, including the adoption of generative AI and exploration of new data sources

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in developing high-performance backend services and APIs
• Proven experience managing complex user-facing platforms with a strategic vision
• Strong problem-solving skills, especially related to healthcare integration challenges
• Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as FHIR and HL7
