What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the technical direction for healthcare data exchange, including drafting roadmaps and setting priorities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new platform capabilities and innovative services
- Build large-scale APIs and microservices to facilitate real-time data access for patients and providers
- Mentor fellow engineers to enhance team productivity and uphold coding standards
- Pioneer innovative strategies in healthcare tech, including the adoption of generative AI and exploration of new data sources
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in developing high-performance backend services and APIs
- Proven experience managing complex user-facing platforms with a strategic vision
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially related to healthcare integration challenges
- Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as FHIR and HL7
