• Develop and deliver high-quality software that impacts railroad logistics and freight movement
• Write production-quality code and maintain unit/integration tests
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and performance
• Design and operate scalable systems across various platforms, including cloud and edge devices
• Innovate in distributed computing and contribute to industry transformation

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without employer assistance
• Minimum of 2 years of software development or related experience
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#
• Experience in developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software in production systems
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field
• Engineering experience with a public PaaS or cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with frameworks like React, Angular, Node.js, or Spring Boot
• Interest in sustainable infrastructure and cost/resource awareness
• Prior experience developing and delivering highly reliable distributed systems in a production environment
