• Design and develop software while improving existing code for efficiency and bug detection
• Write unit tests and validate software against acceptance criteria
• Lead code reviews and document code to ensure maintainability and support
• Conduct impact analysis to identify the effects of changes across multiple applications
• Mentor and guide less experienced software engineers in coding standards and practices

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Golang and Java with solid object-oriented programming skills
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Agile/SCRUM and Waterfall
• Proven track record of leading feature development from requirements to production rollout

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience transitioning systems from monolithic to microservice architectures
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure tools
• Strong database tuning and query optimization skills for Postgre
  
  SQL and Oracle
• Experience with observability tools and understanding of SRE best practices
