• Build and run experiments to drive the growth of the employer’s retail products
• Design scalable systems to address novel problems using modern cloud technology
• Develop and articulate a long‑term vision for backend systems maintenance and scalability
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to create a quarterly roadmap
• Write high‑quality, well‑tested code to meet customer needs

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering
• Proven experience in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services
• Ability to compose a service‑oriented architecture
• Strong passion for creating an open financial system that connects the world
• Proficiency in writing high‑quality, well‑tested code

• Experience launching new products from 0 to 1
• Familiarity with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks
• Knowledge of blockchain technology (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.)
• Experience with programming languages and technologies like Golang, Ruby, Docker, Rails, Postgres, Mongo
  
  DB, or DynamoDB
• Background in building fintech, highly reliable, and/or secure systems
