• Build new services using Golang to meet critical product and business needs for the Card program
• Design scalable systems to solve novel problems utilizing modern cloud technology and best practices
• Develop a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling backend systems and the teams managing them
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to create a tangible quarterly roadmap
• Write high-quality, well-tested code to fulfill customer requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering
• Experience with Card products and involvement in building or working on such products at scale
• Proven ability to design, build, scale, and maintain production services with knowledge of service-oriented architecture
• Strong commitment to writing high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs
• Passion for building an open financial system that fosters global connection

• Experience in a rapidly growing company (from startup to mid-size)
• Familiarity with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks
• Knowledge of Blockchain technology (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.)
• Experience with Golang, Postgres, Mongo
  
  DB, or DynamoDB
• Background in building financial, high-reliability, or security systems
