Mobile; Kotlin​/Java Developer

Overview

We are seeking a Mobile (Kotlin/Java) Developer with native React experience. The Developer is responsible for delivering final code in native Kotlin/Java and React for mobile applications using best mobile development best practices. Qualified candidates will need demonstrate experience working collaboratively with large enterprise project teams, including project managers, business analysts, designers, and developers. Our client is seeking a strong Developer to contribute on a multi-disciplinary agile team development team and be highly context-aware providing cognitive application support for physicians.

You will get to work side by side with UX designers, developers, knowledge engineers and software architects to help shape the vision of this clinical application.

• Designing and implementing mobile complex mobile applications that are API driven Kotlin/Java application built onto the “SMART on FHIR” framework.
• Developing front-end user interfaces leveraging the latest versions of native React
• Design, build and/or evolve data visualization components.
• Build models for context- and situation-awareness.
• Learn and help implement software patterns within a modular architecture.

• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field with 5 years of experience as noted below; OR an Associate s degree in Computer/Science/Engineering or related field with 7 years of experience.
• Have in-depth knowledge of software engineering with experience coding applications or services in a high-level language (C, C++, Golang, Java, C# etc.) and a basic knowledge of related fields.
• Demonstrated problem solving and time management skills.
• Possesses strong technical aptitude for designing and implementing software solutions.
• Experience with modern application development frameworks
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Deep hands-on technical expertise, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Agile software development techniques.
