Data Engineer; REMOTE

This job allows you to work remotely.

We are looking for a Data Engineer contractor (Corp to Corp Engagement) to help augment the development staff to achieve the delivery of new solutions and enhancements.

• Designing/developing the application services for an enterprise application solution
• Creating unit test plans/cases, developing, unit testing, and conducting code & unit test walkthroughs

• 4+ years’ experience building high-performance, large-scale, and scalable software systems
• 4+ years’ experience designing data solutions, modeling data, and developing ETL pipelines.
• 4+ years’ experience with the following:
  • Python, Scala, Spark, Powershell
  • C#.NET
  • Microsoft / Azure / Oracle / SQL Server
• Experience with Git Source Control/Azure Dev Ops
• Experience with Open Source Logging frameworks
• Experience working in an agile development environment using Azure Dev Ops
• Must be flexible and able to handle all situations in a professional manner
• High degree of self-motivation, commitment, and integrity
• Must have an excellent attendance and punctuality record
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related analytical field, or equivalent experience, is preferred.

• Experience automating deployments with Dev Ops pipelines using YAML or Terraform.
• Experience with Machine Learning techniques and tools.
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops Boards and Work Items
• Experience managing pipelines and CI/CD in Azure Dev Ops
