Our client in the Knoxville area is looking for someone with PHP and or Magento 1 experience. This is 2 days on site and 3 work from home!

Salary $75,000 - $110,000 per year

We are on the hunt for a passionate and talented Software Developer to join our Dynamic team in the technology industry. The ideal candidate will be a strategical thinker and have a minimum of 1 year of development experience in a professional setting. It would be a plus if you have experience with PHP and/or Magento.

• Develop and manage e-commerce websites, web applications, and other websites using Magento 1, Magento 2, Magento 2.3, PHP, and Laravel.
• Analyze, design, code, debug, test, document, and deploy applications.
• Participate in project and deployment planning.
• Customize and style the Magento front end.
• Develop Magento modules in PHP using best practices.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and debug web applications.
• Update website features and security patches.
• Collaborate with a team of developers and designers to meet project goals and create effective workflows.
• Stay current on the latest industry trends, technology, and best Magento/PHP practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Magento/PHP development.
• Proficient in Magento 1, Magento 2, Magento 2.3, PHP, and Laravel.
• Strong knowledge of Magento architecture and its extensions.
• Experience in developing Magento modules, themes, and APIs.
• Proficient in MySQL/Postgres or other databases.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, XHTML, CSS, XML, and SVN.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and system architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
