We're looking for an Advanced Software Engineer to join our Relativity Privilege Engineering team. Come work with a dynamic group of talented professionals building applications that power the pursuit of justice.

Job Description and Requirements Responsibilities- Build user‑facing features for our Relativity Privilege product (server‑side)
- Improve and scale our complex distributed data processing pipeline
- Collaborate with team members to implement new features, bug fixes, and CI/CD
- Build high quality, maintainable solutions
- Participate in code reviews and continue to develop your Engineering skillset with the latest AI tools and methods for developing software
- Stay up‑to‑date with technologies and best practices related to CI/CD tooling and developer productivity
- Implement unit and integration tests
- Participate in on‑call rotation and handle escalations as necessary
- 2+ years of professional experience in software development
- Strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures and computational complexity
- A self‑starter driven to make an impact
- Proficiency in Java or C#
- Comfortable working from specifications to create a technical approach and scope work
- Ability to consistently deliver modular and scalable solutions in a timely manner
- Obsession with software quality and empathy for customer experience
- Technical understanding and experience with at least two of the following Dev Ops platforms:
Git Hub, Azure Dev Ops, Git Lab CI/CD, and Pulumi
- Experience building AI‑powered products that use NLP, LLMs
- Knowledge of Linux
- Knowledge of Go or Python language
- Knowledge of No
SQL database systems such as Mongo
DB, Cosmos
DB, Elasticsearch - Fundamental knowledge of Kubernetes and container‑based systems
- Experience using and building dashboards in tools like New Relic, Grafana, Snowflake
- Experience with distributed processing technologies, e.g. Spark, Hadoop, Kafka
Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices. This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long‑term incentives.
The expected salary range for this role is $103,000 to $155,000. The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
