As a Principal frontend engineer, you will be responsible to architect our Application and ensure craftsmanship in everything we build. Candidates should have experience in highly scaled software engineering, modern and current frontend best practices, and be constantly interested in learning, sharing, and supporting others. You are also passionate about using Gen AI tools in everything we build. Successful candidates for this role will have a deep understanding of front-end web technologies including Type Script, React, Node, Next.js,

and modern micro-front end architectures. You will be passionate about up-leveling UX development capabilities within the company and you will have the passion and patience to guide teams and individual engineers through that work. You will also have an interest in leveraging AI to assist in both improving developer efficiency and in building out customer experiences based on AI. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Vice President of Engineering.

• Write high-quality code that is easy to maintain and test
• Build Type Script and JavaScript client code using modern web frameworks and technologies (React + Redux)
• Work with UX and Design to standardize and simplify UI development practices
• Build modular/reusable UI components
• Build and maintain front-end web application infrastructure
• Participate in the entire development life cycle, from concept to release
• Support strategic code sharing and architecture for one or more functional area
• Ensure design and architecture is extensible across multiple projects, and participate in technical design and code reviews
• Work cooperatively with product management and design to create features that are scalable and secure
• Identify, propose, and implement process improvement to continuously increase the team's productivity and efficiency
• Stay current with the latest software engineering best practices and share your findings with the team
• Raise issues proactively that might impact delivery commitments
• Research new features and technologies

• 10+ years of software development experience
• 10+ years of web application development
• Experience with modern web application technologies (Type Script, ES6, React/Angular/VueJS, Sass/Less, Node, Next.js etc.)
• BS or MS in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent industry experience
• Use of Gen AI tools to build Software

• Experience building design systems and component libraries
• 10+ years’ experience implementing responsive design.
• 10+ years’ experience building SaaS web applications
• 5+ years’ experience with web accessibility standards and practices
• Experience aligning platform architecture with security and data
• Experience with unit testing frameworks
• Experience developing, promoting and building consensus across engineering teams
• Understanding of web application design principles such as usability, performance, and security
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
