Software Engineer Backend Development Mentorship Ruby on Rails System Design

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to play a key role in shaping the future of career discovery for Generation Z  will work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to improve our marketplace for universities, students, and employers. You will own and deliver sizable projects, provide thoughtful feedback in reviews, and contribute to organization-level technical standards. You will also use your expertise to influence team priorities, mentor fellow engineers, and foster growth within the team.

• 6+ years of experience with any systems programming language and/or backend web frameworks (Ruby-on-Rails experience is a plus).
• Demonstrated success collaborating with product, design, and analytics partners.
• Experience driving architectural decisions across backend and frontend systems.
• Knowledge of observability systems and practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
