Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning, high‑level and detailed requirements definition, test planning and execution, software systems integration, and technical support for software systems and subsystems.
• Perform software system product services, including concept design, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
• Serve as an active member of the software development team participating in daily stand‑ups.
• Utilize full‑stack development expertise, developing .NET back‑end applications using C#, unit testing (NUnit or similar), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of application.
• Provide development support for solutions deployed to production.
• Implement long‑term solutions and building blocks within Agile for improved reusability.
• Interface with stakeholders for project requirements.
• Apply and promote software engineering practices such as test automation, modularization, and simplification.
• Collaborate and coordinate with colleagues on various solutions and problems.
• Document software designs, including design diagrams, data flow diagrams, and module descriptions.
• Use IDE tools such as Visual Studio, Azure Dev Ops, and Git.

Required Skills and Experience

• Expertise in .NET Framework and .NET Core; strong understanding of C#.
• Proficiency in developing back‑end applications using MVC architecture and .NET Core.
• Strong knowledge of OOP and design patterns.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and other web APIs.
• Proficiency in database design and development with SQL Server and Entity Framework.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS).
• Experience with version control systems (Git, TFS/TFVC).
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., AWS Code Pipeline, Code Build, Code Deploy).
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest).
• Proficiency with development tools like Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality software.
• Ability to mentor and provide guidance to junior developers.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and IaC.
• Strong understanding of security best practices for web applications and APIs.
• Ability to conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience with third‑party libraries, SDKs, and relevant .NET APIs.

Professional Certifications

None required.

Years of Professional Experience

Eight (8) or more years of experience in software development using .NET technologies.

Desired Experience

• Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) medical claims (X.12, 837, 834, 277).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, ECS, EKS).

Formal Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline with 8+ years experience.
• Master’s Degree in the same fields with 5+ years experience.
• Ph.D. in related fields with 3+ years experience.

Citizenship Requirement

U.S. Citizenship required.

Security Clearance Requirements

Must possess or qualify for Public Trust (MBI).
