Full-Stack Developer (Back-End / CMS Focus) - Remote

About You:

While you appreciate the artistry of the front-end, your true love lies in building robust, scalable, and efficient back-end systems. You’re comfortable navigating the full stack but excel at server-side architecture, cloud infrastructure with AWS , and integrating with powerful headless CMS solutions like Craft, Sanity, and Statamic. You also have a solid understanding of Dev Ops principles and enjoy seeing your code seamlessly deployed.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications with a strong emphasis on back-end architecture and APIs.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced agency environment with multiple projects and quick turnaround times.
• Architect, build, and manage our AWS infrastructure.
• Integrate and work extensively with headless CMS platforms like Craft, Sanity, and Statamic.
• Develop and maintain efficient APIs for front-end consumption.
• Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines and other Dev Ops practices.
• Optimize back-end performance and ensure data security.
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full stack, with a focus on the back-end.

Qualifications:

• 5 + years of professional Full-Stack Development experience with a strong back-end emphasis.
• Deep understanding of AWS services (e.g., EC 2 , Cloudfront, RDS , Lambda).
• Significant experience with server setup and configuration.
• Solid experience with Craft CMS , Statamic or Sanity CMS
  .
• Familiarity with Dev Ops principles and tools.
• Strong proficiency in one or more back-end languages (e.g.,
  Node.js, PHP
  ).
• Experience with databases (SQL and No
  
  SQL).
• Proficiency in version control systems (
  Git
  ).
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with containerization technologies (
  Docker, Kubernetes
  ).
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation).
• Experience with testing frameworks for both front-end and back-end.
