Advanced Designer, Technical - REMOTE

In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping and implementing high-quality gameplay features for an online multiplayer RPG. Your expertise will bridge the gap between design, engineering, and technical art, ensuring the seamless execution of the design vision.

• Lead the creation of rapid prototypes for new gameplay systems and features.
• Collaborate with the design team to build complex gameplay systems and supporting tools.
• Work with engineering and technical art teams to ensure design vision is technically sound.
• Design, implement, and iterate on complex gameplay features using Unreal Engine Blueprints.
• Mentor other designers on technical design best practices and optimization.
• Perform peer reviews for Blueprints and technical design work to maintain high standards.
• Help define and document technical standards for design-created content.

• 8+ years of professional game design experience focused on technical design.
• Experience with at least one successfully-published large-scale multiplayer online game.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Expert-level proficiency with Unreal Engine, especially Blueprints.
• Strong understanding of all game development disciplines and the content pipeline.
• Excellent problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communicator, capable of mentoring and explaining technical concepts.
