Senior Software Engineer, iOS

About the Role

The Ninja One Senior iOS Engineer is a developer who focuses on customer‑facing mobile applications, particularly built in Swift using best practices. We’re looking for a strong coder excited to be part of our rapidly growing team. You will be working on multiple high‑traffic applications using the latest mobile technology and design patterns.

Location:

We are flexible on remote work from home if you are located in the USA and reside in one of the following states: CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, MD, ME, MA, NJ, NC, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, WA. We have physical offices in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL for those who prefer a hybrid option.

Ninja One is built on Java, Kotlin, C++, Golang and Postgres, supporting millions of user endpoints as a scalable cloud service in AWS. Knowledge of large‑scale datastore bottlenecks, asynchronous application design and client‑server architecture will be beneficial.

• Develop new and existing iOS native applications.
• Test and maintain various native iOS mobile applications while identifying process and development improvements.
• Document new applications or changes made to existing applications.
• Support systems to provide continuous integration and automated testing processes.
• Other duties as needed.

• 6+ years of experience with iOS development.
• Proficiency with MVVM architecture or an equivalent pattern.
• Understanding of Git and willingness to participate in code reviews.
• Understanding of basic web services and how they are used by front‑end applications.
• Published one (or more) application in the Apple Store.
• Solid understanding of the iOS release cycle.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job‑related factors, including but not limited to location, market demands, experience, and skills. For roles based in California, Colorado, Maryland, New Jersey, or Washington, the base salary hiring range is $130,000 to $210,000 per year. For roles based in New York, the base salary hiring range is also $130,000 to $210,000 per year.

All salary ranges also come with medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, and paid time off.
