Position: Senior Software Engineer / Python Developer

Senior Software Engineer / Python Developer — Remote, Permanent Required Skills

• CS fundamentals (data structure and algorithms)
• Deep knowledge of modern web applications
• Expertise in Python
• Proficiency in JavaScript/Type Script/React
• Good knowledge of Mongo
  
  DB or SQL
• Proficiency with Git and Docker (Kubernetes is a plus)
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred or Nice-to-have Skills

• Experience with AWS
• Knowledge of Kubernetes
• Experience with cross-functional teams
• Experience or curiosity with Machine Learning or AI

Years of Experience

7+ years of professional experience in software development of web applications

Industry Experience

Software development, preferably in a SaaS-based environment. Web application development and engineering.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus

Project Description

This role will be primarily updating existing platforms, so experience working with legacy systems and upgrading libraries will be important. Also, we are integrating AI/ML into the scope of work, so curiosity or experience in that space will be beneficial. Primary needs within the tech stack are Python and React as this is a fullstack role.

Additional Variable Compensation
