The Sr Back End Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems for Bunge's digital products. The Sr Back End Engineer will work with a team of talented engineers to ensure the efficiency, reliability, and security of Bunge’s backend services. This senior-level role requires advanced technical expertise in backend technologies, exceptional problem-solving skills, the ability to provide technical guidance to other team members as well as oversee/validate outcomes delivered by contracted vendors.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about building reliable and efficient backend services that drive the company's digital initiatives.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services and APIs using industry-standard frameworks.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define API requirements and specifications.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug backend issues, and implement solutions to resolve them.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and codebase.
• Ensure that backend systems are optimized for performance and scalability.
• Guide teammates on developing efficient and secure backend components
• Establish and promote best practices, standards and guidelines related to back-end engineering for Bunge technology products.
