Shape the Future of Privacy Tech from Day One
About UsGLOK is an emerging force in privacy-first technology, creating tools that empower users to stay safe, alert trusted contacts, and remain invisible by default. Our platform is built on open protocols and has already garnered international attention, positioning us to become a cornerstone of global privacy infrastructure.
Founded by a visionary entrepreneur responsible for groundbreaking innovations in the legacy fintech as well as in the Bitcoin world: eg. the first hardware wallet and the first plug‑and‑play Bitcoin and Lightning node.
GLOK is just getting started and you have the opportunity to be part of building it from the ground up.
The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Developer with experience in Android and Kotlin Multiplatform to join our mobile development team as a core member. You will play a critical role in shaping a product that prioritizes real‑world security, user sovereignty, and technical excellence.
Your Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain a high-quality Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) mobile application
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to plan and deliver features with precision
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code with a focus on long‑term sustainability
- Thoroughly test code to ensure stability, especially under edge cases and high‑stress scenarios
- Integrate cutting‑edge technologies like Nostr to enable secure, decentralized communication
- Ensure full compatibility with privacy‑focused platforms such as Graphene
OS and similar hardened environments
- Demonstrated expertise in Android development using Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform
- Strong knowledge of Android SDKs, modern mobile architecture, and RESTful API integration
- Experience building mobile applications that interface with hardware—especially Bluetooth integration (BLE/Classic)
- Familiarity or curiosity about decentralized protocols like Nostr — experience is a plus, not a requirement
- Ability to debug and resolve complex technical challenges with elegant, efficient solutions
- Excellent communication skills and a team‑oriented, collaborative mindset
- Passion for privacy, security, and open‑source technologies
- Based in or available to work within European time zones (±2 hours CET preferred) to ensure smooth collaboration with the core team
- Stability with Vision: A full‑time position in a project with strong early momentum and long‑term potential
- Remote‑First Flexibility: Work from anywhere, with a team that values trust, autonomy, and results
- High‑impact opportunity: You’ll be joining at an early stage, with the chance to directly influence the core product, architecture, and future of a platform that’s gaining visibility in the privacy‑tech and open‑source space.
- Purpose‑Driven Mission: Build tools that protect users - not exploit them.
If you’re driven by building meaningful, privacy‑first technology and want to work on a project with real global potential, we want to talk to you.
As part of our hiring process, we use Test Gorilla to ensure a fair and objective evaluation of all candidates. Qualified applicants will be invited to complete a technical assessment before proceeding to team interviews.
