The Software Engineer will design, develop, and implement complex software capabilities on computer‑based systems, working closely with a collaborative team to deliver high‑quality solutions.

• U.S. citizenship required. No Secret clearance required on day one; can be processed for a Secret level clearance.
• At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering with modern Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Guava), and a bachelor’s degree in a related field; or 3 years of experience with a master’s degree; or high school diploma with 9 years of experience.
• Experience designing enterprise APIs, RESTful web services, microservices architecture, and object‑oriented programming paradigms.
• Experience with the Linux operating system and configuration management tools (e.g., Git, Nexus, Maven). Full knowledge of agile software lifecycle.
• Proven ability to learn quickly and work independently and as part of a team.
• Hybrid work requires 1–2 days per week in the Columbia, MD office.

• Current Secret or higher level clearance preferred.
• DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level II compliance certifications may be required.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
