Overview

We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer who is passionate about enforcing best coding practices and advocating for continuous improvement. The role involves developing tools and templates for process improvements and scaling the platform to handle a significant increase in load while ensuring 100% uptime.

• Enforce best coding practices and advocate for continuous improvement.
• Develop tools and templates for process improvements.
• Scale the platform to handle 1,000 times the current load while maintaining 100% uptime.

• Over 10 years of full software development lifecycle (SDLC) experience, with at least 3 years at the staff engineer level or higher.
• Mastery of SDLC, SOLID principles, TDD/BDD, and clean code/architecture.
• 5-8+ years of experience with modern technologies like Graph
  
  QL, gRPC, JavaScript, microservices, and No
  
  SQL.
• 5-8+ years of applying cloud development patterns and best practices.
• 7+ years proficiency in cloud-based architecture and automated release pipelines.
• 5-8+ years of API‑first approach expertise with loosely coupled systems and domain‑driven design.
• Must have at least 5 years of full stack development experience, with a stronger emphasis on front‑end development.

• Experience in managing and planning technical debt.
• Commitment to improving code, processes, and people.
• Strong focus on quality code and various testing approaches.
• Experience with JavaScript.
• Expertise in Microservices and API.

The position requires working in the office 4 days a week and offers 1 day of work from home (WFH) with flexible scheduling based on office presence and project load. Employees can choose their WFH day, but there is no flexibility on the total number of in‑office days at this time.

This is a Permanent position based out of Scottsdale, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $ - $ per year. The client’s benefits package will be provided during the screening process.
