- Perform technical planning, high-level and detailed requirements definition, test planning and execution (including use cases, test procedures, and test data), software systems integration, and technical support for software systems and subsystems
- Perform software system product services, including concept design, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal
- Serve as an active member of the software development team participating in daily stand-ups
- Utilize full-stack development expertise that ranges from development of .Net back-end application using C#, unit testing, testing with Nunit or other tools, and deployment using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of application
- Provide development support (as needed) for solutions deployed to production
- Implement long-term solutions and building blocks within the Agile framework for improved reusability
- Interface with the stakeholders for project requirements
- Apply and promote good software engineering practices such as test automation, modularization, and simplification
- Collaborate and coordinate with colleagues on various solutions and problems
- Document software designs, which may include design diagrams, data flow diagrams, software module descriptions, etc
- Use Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tools to include Visual Studio, Azure Dev Ops, and Git
- Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with a strong understanding of C#
- Proficiency in developing back-end applications using Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture and .Net core
- Strong Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns
- Experience with RESTful APIs and other APIs
- Proficiency in database design and development, including SQL Server and Entity Framework
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
- Experience with version control systems such as GIT and TFVC
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., AWS Code Pipeline, Code Build, Code Deploy)
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and tools (e.g., NUnit, xUnit, MSTest)
- Proficiency using development tools like Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality software
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and IaC
- Understanding of security best practices for web applications and APIs
- Experience with code reviews and performance tuning
- Experience with third-party libraries, SDKs, and APIs relevant to .Net development

Years of Professional ExperienceEight (8) or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies; proven track record of working on complex software projects and leading development initiatives; experience with designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-level applications.
Desired ExperienceElectronic Data Interchange X.12 (EDI) Medical Claims (X.12 medical claims 837, 834, 277, etc); knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS).
Formal EducationBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline; eight (8) or more years of experience; OR Master’s Degree with five (5) or more years of experience; OR Ph.D. with three (3) or more years of experience.
Citizenship RequirementU.S. Citizenship required for this specific opportunity.
