Python Backend Developer

We are a dynamic and innovative software development company working on high-profile projects in the automotive industry. Our current projects are closely related to Media Markt Saturn ’s digital platforms. We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Developer to join our team and help us build and maintain cutting-edge solutions.

We are collaborating with Media Markt Saturn , one of the leading consumer electronics retailers in Europe, on a project focused on enhancing security. This project aims to develop robust security solutions that ensure the protection of sensitive data and secure transactions across various platforms. Our goal is to create a scalable and highly available security infrastructure that can be integrated seamlessly with existing systems and future expansions.

Development must ensure that the solution is as portable between cloud providers as possible. Tools and software used within the project will be chosen in correspondence with the technical coordinator.

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python.
• Design and implement scalable and efficient APIs.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Work closely with the Dev Ops team to manage and deploy applications on cloud providers.
• Implement the solution to conform with scalability, availability, and security requirements.
• Rigorous testing of code (test-automation where possible, manual testing where necessary).
• Be responsible for the functionality of staged changes on all environments (deploy, test, monitor, troubleshoot).
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Documentation of implementation, operations, and configuration.
• Installation & Administration of managed Kubernetes (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Cluster (AKS)).

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Strong experience with cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with database management and optimization (e.g., SQL, No

• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• In-depth knowledge of Docker, Git, and CI/CD Pipelines (Azure Dev Ops).
• Experience with infrastructure as a code (e.g., Terraform), application logging and monitoring (e.g., ELK Stack, Prometheus), key-value stores (e.g., Redis), load balancing and reverse-proxy (e.g., Nginx), token-based authentication and authorization (OAuth 2.0), cloud infrastructure (e.g., Microsoft Azure).
