Join our Platform team to play a key role in shaping Care First’s next-generation Integration Platform, with a strong emphasis on Mule Soft as a cornerstone of our future-state architecture. This role drives innovation, defines technical strategy, and champions developer enablement to accelerate adoption of an API-first, product-based integration approach.

By leveraging Mule Soft’s platform capabilities, you will help streamline execution, enable reusability, and deliver scalable, cost-effective solutions that power our enterprise portfolio.

• Lead a team of software engineers in the design, development, and implementation of multiple applications. Perform and lead detail technical design, coding, code review, and testing of new and existing applications.
• Serve as subject matter expert for specified systems and subsequent application development.
• Identify gaps in requirements and solve problems for the supporting staff.
• Support the Project Manager as the technical team lead on projects.
• Lead software design and development teams, manage technical resources, and plan transformation initiatives to new software architectures.

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent 4 years of relevant experience.

Experience: 5 years software design and development, software test and evaluation, software requirements management.

• Experience designing, developing and implementing integration solutions using Mule Soft Anypoint Platform, including API Manager, Exchange, Runtime Manager, and API Designer.
• Proficient with Mule Soft Anypoint Studio for building, testing, and deploying APIs and integrations.
• Experience leveraging Mule Soft Accelerators, Templates, and Adapters (e.g., Salesforce, EHR/EMR, Payment, SAP) to accelerate delivery and enable interoperability.
• Strong knowledge of Data Weave for complex transformations and message enrichment across multiple data formats. Experience developing 12‑factor microservices while utilizing Continuous Integration, Build, and Delivery with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud.
• Experience with Spring related technologies such as Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Integration.
• Experience in developing REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience in designing and implementing container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes.

• Experience in writing automation scripts using Postman & Newman collection for API/Microservices testing.
• Experience with FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) and HL7 standards for healthcare data exchange and interoperability.
• Experience in writing automation scripts test suites using Cucumber, TestNG, Rest Assured.
• Hands‑on experience with JSON, XML data formats.
• Experience with iterative and incremental development on product‑focused teams practicing code reviews.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate and translate feedback, needs and solutions.
• Ability to lead in an Agile environment.
• Experience in production support that has high visibility/SLA’s.
• Strong teamwork focus and the ability to foster collaboration within and across teams.
• Creative problem‑solving skills that deliver elegant solutions to complex issues.
• Experience with Git workflow of release management and project tracking systems (e.g., Git Hub, Jira).
• Proficiency in Swagger/OpenAPI Specification knowledge and experience with designing APIs based on domain/entity driven models.
• Working experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Service Mesh and Containers.
