As part of our Engineering function, you will work closely with clients to translate complex business requirements into innovative digital products. Whether you are a Senior Engineer, Tech Lead, or Dev Ops Engineer, you will collaborate with distributed teams, leveraging cutting‑edge technologies to build secure, high‑performance applications. Our Nearform engineers are known for building high‑quality, scalable solutions that solve real world problems.

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. You will work closely with the development team throughout the software lifecycle, embedding testing into every step of the process. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with development to integrate testing and a quality assurance mindset into the software development lifecycle.
• Defining and implementing structured testing practices, including automated and manual testing strategies.
• Developing and maintaining automated front‑end, back‑end, and API test frameworks using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, and Chai.
• Performing functional, non‑functional, performance, and security testing.
• Ensuring test processes are integrated into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance.
• Optimising testing for scalability, speed, and efficiency.
• Supporting Technical Leaders in project execution and timely delivery.
• Collaborating with client teams.

• Significant experience delivering at a Senior Test Engineer level (at least 6 years’ commercial experience).
• Practical experience delivering in an agile environment.
• Practical experience and knowledge of developing automation testing frameworks for scalable software solutions.
• Deep knowledge of automation testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Mocha, and Chai.
• Deep understanding of versioning control tools – e.g., Git.
• Practical and real world experience working with databases and cloud environments.
• Practical experience creating test strategies for large‑scale, enterprise applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.

• Technical Assessment (1 hour via Zoom) – Live coding challenge focused on Cypress or Playwright expertise, problem‑solving ability, and QA best practices.
• Hiring Manager Interview (45 mins via Zoom) – Discussion on teamwork, client collaboration, and problem‑solving in an enterprise setting.

There may also be an additional interview with the client depending on the project.
