About the role:

As the
Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) (Backend / Full Stack), you'll be a key player in a cross-functional team, building performant, scalable, and customer-focused web applications used by millions across Europe. You’ll shape features end-to-end - from early discovery and ideation through delivery and rollout.

About your tasks:

• Develop core features across our homepage, search, product detail page, and cart - turning complex needs into seamless, personalized, and trustworthy shopping experiences.
• Support the team in developing the new Shop Rendering UI, based on Next.js
• Extend and create new backend services across various domains, that interact with internal and external applications.
• Create and consume API endpoints based on defined contracts with colleagues.
• Collaborate with Rabbit
  
  MQ to ensure scalable, asynchronous communication between services.
• Work on new features designed for high-performance and scalability.
• Embrace an open feedback culture and engage in open communication within the team.

About you:

• Understand that seniority is defined by the
  ability to make a genuine impact, be proactive, and take ownership
• Enjoy designing and building new features from scratch, and you
  own your code end-to-end
  , including building, testing, and deployment
• Have experience building services at scale with
  Node.js
  and
  Type Script and demonstrates proficiency with
  REST APIs
  and a solid understanding of HTTP
• Possess a Dev Ops mindset,including use of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline setup
• You’re comfortable collaborating with non-technical stakeholders, helping align tech and product priorities.
• You have a team-player first mindset and enjoy working closely with others. You are proactive communicator.

Our offices are open, but you are free to work from home, from any location in Germany.
