React Native Developer

** This is a contract opportunity where you'll work with our client for at least six months on a contract basis (both W2 and 1099 options are available). Candidates must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.**

Emergent Software is looking for a React Native developer who is a smart, passionate, and curious problem solver with experience building mobile applications from the ground up. A qualified candidate has advanced knowledge of React Native and experience architecting mobile apps

• Build new mobile applications using React Native and maintain existing apps.

• Architect scalable and maintainable mobile solutions following industry best practices.

• Lead or contribute to mobile development projects from start to finish, balancing work across multiple initiatives.

• Participate in technical requirements gathering, technology selection, and mobile architecture design.

• Integrate mobile apps with backend services and APIs.

• Navigate app store submission and approval processes for iOS and Android.

• Collaborate with other developers on an agile team, including those experienced in React for web.

• Provide code feedback through pull request reviews.

• Share knowledge and mentor team members on React Native best practices.

• Other related duties as assigned by your manager.

• Advanced experience with React Native and mobile app development for iOS and Android.

• Advanced experience in JavaScript or Type Script.

• Experience integrating mobile apps with RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Knowledge of good architectural patterns for scalable and maintainable mobile software.

• Proven success leading or owning mobile projects from start to finish.

• Strong technical and non-technical communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to estimate tasks effectively and accurately.

• Consulting either independently or with a firm.

• Working directly with customer teams of various sizes.

• Familiarity with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin/Java) development.

• Experience with CI/CD for mobile apps.

• Knowledge of cloud services (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).

• Experience with C# in .NET.
