The Boeing Company is looking for Software Engineer - Dev Sec Ops  (Experienced or Senior) (Virtual) to join the Enterprise Software Utilities and DO-330 Tools team.

This position will focus on supporting the Enterprise Software Verticals (ESV) organization. As part of Boeing Avion

X Utilities this position will support the architecture, development, deployment and certification of a CI/CD environment for large software systems that span multiple virtual, cloud based, developmental and production hardware environments. Support the integration and test of complex software components into fully functional software systems. The organization and your work will allow for the successful development and production of multiple Avionics Software/Hardware Systems for use on both BCA and BDS platforms while working with a global distributed team of software engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

* Develops, documents and maintains standardized, efficient, and innovative processes, tools, methodologies, and performance metrics to streamline the software engineering lifecycle and enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of safety critical software

* Automates, develops, monitors, improves, and troubleshoots across software engineering development, tooling, testing, integration, deployment, configuration processes, and security controls

* Analyzes, plans, and executes mitigation strategies to prevent potential security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities

* Implements an environment that enables high levels of quality, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization

* Supports collaboration with cross functional teams to build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure software engineering systems

* Implements current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulations in the software engineering Dev Sec Ops  environment Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
* 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

* 3+ years of experience with Java

* 3+ years of experience with Python

* 3+ years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or integration and test experience with mission systems on tactical platforms

* 3+ years of experience utilizing Linux and/or Window operating systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

* Level 4: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

* Experience with DO-330 tool qualification

* Experience developing software certified under DO-178

* Direct practical experience and advanced knowledge of the CI/CD process including debugging, test, and integration of software tools.

* Strong communication skills and a self-starter that can thrive in a distributed remote work environment.

* Understanding of designing and implementing full stack/Microservice infrastructure.

* Can set up and manage a toolchain using tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, Artifactory, Mat Lab, LDRA, Sonar Qube and more.

* Experience with SaaS architecture and cloud-based development Code Vue Coding Challenge:
