* Software Engineer - Incident Management Systems
* * Overview:
* We are enhancing our incident management platform by integrating context from multiple internal and external systems, including telemetry, infrastructure, change management, collaboration tools (chat/video), documentation, knowledge bases, and inventory management.

* Role Focus:
* This is a
* software development
* role-not Dev Ops or SRE. You will design and build new features for existing systems, collaborate with technical leadership, and progressively take ownership of deliverables. Independent work capability is essential.

* Key Responsibilities
* * Develop new features within the incident management ecosystem.

* Integrate data from telemetry, observability, and infrastructure systems.

* Collaborate in an Agile environment with iterative delivery and short feedback loops.

* Apply test-driven development and microservices best practices.

* Golang, API development, CI/CD, Observability, Telemetry

* * Programming:
* Go (Golang), API development.

* * CI/CD:
* Git Lab, ArgoCD.

* * Infrastructure:
* Kubernetes, Terraform.

* * Observability & Telemetry:
* Open Telemetry, Prometheus, Jaeger.

* * Workflow Orchestration:
* Temporal, Cadence, AWS Simple Workflow Service.

* Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, and data-driven applications.

* Preferred Skills

* Agile methodologies, feature flags, and customer feedback-driven development.

* Observability experience is highly valued. Infrastructure skills alone are not sufficient-emphasis is on software engineering.

* This is a Contract position based out of Santa Clara, CA.

* Pay and Benefits
* The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $90.00/hr.
