Remote Software Engineer

Role:
Software/Developer Operations Engineer

We at TEKsystems is partnering with our client and their Operations Support Squad to hire Remote Engineers (Must reside in Greater Seattle Area) to support, improve and maintain an existing data labeling system that enables offline experimentation, offline metric tracking, offline training data generation, content moderation, and content filtering. The OSS is a key system that they use to enable human raters to label predefined data efficiently that's used across different teams inside client.

Day to Day

Responsibilities Include:

- Monitoring system functionality

- Ad hoc support

- Bug fixing

- Monitoring and adding test cases to system

- Building UI for raters

- Build data swarm pipelines

• widget creation

Time frame for completion: 12 month contract Likely to extend

Qualification:

1. Experience with operations such as debugging, fixing, monitoring and/or optimizing an existing system

2. Experience with middle tier development in a modern programming language such as a Python, Ruby, PHP, GoLang, etc. (must be open to learning PHP)

3. Basic understanding of SQL
4. Experience working with Stakeholders to gather and further qualify requirements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00
