Our business is built on finding great people and getting out of their way while they build and improve our award‑winning Software as a Service (SaaS) offering. We are looking for a hands‑on Senior Engineering Manager to join the Docu Sign India’s Engineering organization; you will help scale and build the next generation of Docu Sign’s agreement platform and services/products. You will build the tools and technologies needed for IAM Maestro.

As a technology leader, you will help build a top‑tier software organization that is responsible for the development and upkeep of highly scalable, reliable, and available (“5 nines”) systems.

This position is a people manager role reporting to the Senior Director, Software Engineering.

• Lead and manage one or more engineering teams developing features of business or related technology solutions
• Hire and mentor top talent while building a solid engineering organization on a foundation of execution, innovation and learning
• Complete engineering plan and deliver product while managing the technical debt and up leveling the engineering operational excellence
• Champion the culture, processes, and tools required to maintain a frictionless high-quality development environment while being an expert at agile continuous delivery, Dev Ops and TDD/BDD
• Dive deep into technology and are on the forefront of the latest tools, technologies, and strategies and help evaluate, prototype, and introduce them to our team
• Provide coaching and leadership in software best practices, automated test strategies, and work toward flattening the cost of change curve for our software products and services
• Prioritize great user experiences and be a partner to product management and engineering, sales, operations, and other parts of the business
• Be a hands‑on technical resource who directs product and technology teams to conceptualize, build and deploy products in a fast‑paced agile environment

Employee divides their time between in‑office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in‑office expectation)

• 12+ years of combined software development management experience across multiple languages and frameworks or equivalent experience
• 8+ years hands on software development or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience managing software organizations over 15 people or equivalent experience
• Experience writing code and designing/architecting complex backend systems
• Experience leading and managing one or more engineering teams developing features of business or related technology solutions
• Experience innovating on v1 products – driving them from ideation to usage by millions of users in a startup‑like environment.
• Experience managing direct reports that are people managers, including senior managers

• Experience leading and collaborating with distributed teams in the USA
• Prior experience building end to end products in the Enterprise SaaS area
