Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and operate secure, maintainable, and scalable web applications using object‑oriented principles, modern architecture, and cloud‑native patterns with React on the frontend and .NET (C#) on the backend.
  • Utilize Azure cloud services (Azure Functions, App Services, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Azure Dev Ops) to build highly available, scalable, and secure applications.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship, driving design decisions, elevating engineering practices, and enabling delivery of reliable, high‑quality software.
  • Drive team success through pair programming, code reviews, shared design sessions, and high‑quality documentation.
  • Champion automated testing, static analysis, observability, and Dev Ops workflows to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and coach engineers on secure coding and cloud‑native design.
  • Adopt AI‑assisted coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate development and focus on business‑critical problems.
  • Build tools and automation to streamline workflows across engineering disciplines.
  • Participate in on‑call rotations to troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to deliver high‑quality features.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute to architectural decisions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerization technologies.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles and performance optimization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with big‑data technologies (e.g., Kafka, Spark).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices.
  • Knowledge of observability tools and best practices for system reliability.

Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices. This position is eligible for total compensation including a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long‑term incentives. The expected salary range for this role is between $126,000 and $190,000. The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity.
