Our Order Recommendations team is focused on enabling customers to quickly, seamlessly, and confidently place their ideal order for any event. You’ll be joining a highly cross‑functional team of full‑stack engineers working alongside product, design, research, and analytics to pioneer the use of LLMs and machine learning to help customers find food and curate crowd‑pleasing orders. Your work will center on building tools that meet the customer where they are and which can do anything from automatically generating a perfect order to offering helpful suggestions on complementary items to providing guidance on order composition.

What You’ll Do

• Build products utilizing Python, FastAPI, Graph

QL, and Typescript.

• Work directly with Autonomous Agents, LLMs and ML models to drive innovation, staying current on the latest techniques in prompting, agents, and LLM evaluation.

• Partner cross‑functionally with product managers, designers, stakeholders, and other engineering teams to ensure that we build the right things the right way.

• Plan and organize projects, decompose problems, design technical solutions, and work with other talented engineers to implement, test, and evaluate your team’s work.

• Embrace scale and speed throughout the development lifecycle.

• Have fun building meaningful software with awesome people.

What You Have

• 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in full‑stack engineering roles.

• Experience with frameworks like FastAPI and working knowledge of SQL (e.g., Postgres).

• Relevant experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), including 1+ years working on AI‑powered systems or products and hands‑on experience deploying Generative AI technologies (Agents, RAG, vector databases, etc.) to production.

• A friendly, flexible, and pragmatic disposition.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work both autonomously and in a highly cross‑functional team environment.

• A growth mindset characterized by an appetite for learning, experimentation, and relentless curiosity that you leverage for continuous product and personal improvement.

National cash compensation range for this role is $141,000 - $174,000 per year. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise and region & may vary from the amount above. This range does not represent additional compensation benefits (such as equity, 401K or medical, dental or vision insurance).
