Glean now positions itself as a leading Work AI platform, combining enterprise-grade search, an AI assistant, and powerful application- and agent-building capabilities.

About the Role

You will:

• Build delightful user interfaces with React.js in collaboration with product designers and backend engineers

• Oversee the entirety of your features from inception to launch and beyond

• Write robust code that is easy to read, maintain, and test

• Integrate an instant Glean experience into every workflow while respecting platform constraints

• Mentor more junior engineers or learn from experienced ones

About you

• BA/BS in computer science or related degree

• Experience with a highly polished consumer-grade React.js app, or 4+ years with any web app

• Thrives in a customer-focused, tight-knit, cross-functional environment

• Proactive and positive attitude to lead, learn, troubleshoot, and take ownership of tasks and features

• Passionate about open web technologies (HTML5/CSS/JS) to build pixel-perfect, low-latency, high-FPS interfaces across devices

• Experience in or interest in one or more:
Progressive Web Apps (PWA), Web Extensions, Electron, Capacitor, React, Redux, Webpack

Location

• Hybrid role (3 days a week in either the San Francisco or Palo Alto office)

Salary and Benefits

The standard base salary range for this position is $115,000 – $260,000 annually. Compensation is determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Some roles may be eligible for variable compensation, equity, and benefits.
