Solutions Architect

Summary

This is a ground floor opportunity to be one of the early team members at hotglue and shape our trajectory. You will experience what being at a scrappy startup is like. What you'll be doing described below one-day could look radically different the next. You will be empowered to identify opportunities that will help us grow and own it.

• Become an expert in hotglue and help our clients and potential clients utilize hotglue to its full potential

• Be the first point of contact for when our customers encounter roadblocks

• Have autonomy to identify, conceptualize, and launch new initiatives to support our clients

The Ideal Candidate

• Foundational knowledge of modern programming languages like Python or JavaScript/Node.js

• Understanding of how REST APIs work and how to make API calls using tools like Postman

• Enjoys speaking with and helping customers, whether it be via written communication or calls

• Strong written communication skills and can explain complex technical concepts to engineers and non-engineers alike

• Ability to improvise and develop creative solutions when common approaches fail. Understand the trade-offs in employing different engineering solutions to a problem, valuing pragmatism over idealism
• (Bonus) Can write and understand Python code to help our customers debug issues
