The Role Peraton is currently seeking to hire an experienced Jr Full Stack Engineer to join our Federal Strategic Cyber program.

Location:

Arlington, VA - hybrid telework/remote work environment. Must be able to come on-site as needed.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. This role involves contributing to the full software development lifecycle, supporting both frontend and backend systems, and collaborating on innovative solutions that meet evolving client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, test, document, and maintain software applications across the full stack.

* Assist in the implementation of custom web applications based on dynamic and changing requirements.

* Adapt to evolving project needs and contribute to agile development cycles.

* Research, evaluate, and integrate new technologies and products in response to client requirements.

* Develop new software solutions and enhance existing systems to improve functionality and performance.

* Address challenges related to systems integration, platform compatibility, and multi-environment deployment.

* Troubleshoot and resolve software issues; implement improvements based on user feedback.

* Contribute to the creation of user manuals and technical documentation.

* Support additional application areas as team priorities evolve.

* Participate in database design and may assist in architecting cloud-based environments, either independently or as part of a team.
Qualifications

Required:

* Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years related technical experience required. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

* 2 years of relevant software development experience - including jQuery, JavaScript, Angular/React/Vue, Java, and other development languages.

* 2 years of experience developing and working with APIs.

* Experience with Dev Ops tools Atlassian JIRA, Jenkins Continuous Integration, and GIT repositories.

* Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts.

* U.S. Citizenship required.
* The ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required.

* In addition, selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation to start and for continued employment.
Preferred:
* Experience with SAFe Agile testing environments.

* Experience with Git Lab CI/CD Test Automation Pipeline & Reporting

* Experience with Neo4J

* Experience with D3 styling.
SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range Details Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
