Junior Data Engineer

As a Jr. Data Engineer at Havas you will serve as a technical backbone for our analytics capabilities. You will focus on the maintenance, enhancement, and expansion of our proprietary marketing data platform built on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Big Query and Google Dataform.

In this role, you will work in a cross‑functional environment, bridging the gap between raw data and actionable insights. While your primary focus will be building SQL pipelines in Dataform, you will also support the wider engineering team on larger‑scale ingestion pipelines using Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL pipelines in Google Dataform.
• Manage datasets in Big Query and optimize data models for dashboards in Power BI and Looker Studio.
• Support workflow orchestration with Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow).
• Ensure data accuracy and troubleshoot discrepancies.

Requirements

• Solid foundation in SQL and basic Python skills.
• Interest in working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and clear communication skills.
