The Sr. Java Developer will primarily perform OEP support (sales), which consists of Implementing new changes, supporting sales tools, and handling related duties. We expect candidates to quickly get into existing code base and troubleshoot some of our existing projects, as needed. Candidates may work on automation projects (as needed), in order to reduce our manual testing efforts.

Sr. Java Developers are responsible for the development, programming, and coding of Information Technology solutions. Sr. Java Developers are responsible for documenting detailed system specifications, participating in unit testing and maintenance of planned and unplanned internally developed applications, and evaluating and performance testing purchased products. Sr. Java Developers are responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application.

Sr. Java Developers lead efforts, oversee work results, provide training, and serve as a technical resource for other Developers.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional technical design or coding experience in the IT industry
• Strong,recent Java J2EE/Spring development experience and React and/or Node.
  
  JS experience
• Proficiency programming in more than one object-oriented programming language, such as JAVA, JavaScript, Python, C#, C++, PHP, etc.
• Proficiency using versioning tools, such as GIT, GNU, RCS, SCCS, CVS, SVN, Mercurial, Monotone, etc.
• Experience with HTML and Frameworks, such as React.

  JS, EXPRESS, etc.
• Experience with SOAP, REST web service development
• Understanding of learning languages, such as Hadoop, Storm, Spark, Kafka, Hive, NFI, Scoop, etc., and database knowledge, such as SQL, MySQL, Oracle DB, Postgre
  
  SQL, Cassandra, Mongo
  
  DB, etc.
• Proficiency using standard desktop applications, such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools, such as Visio
• Proficiency using debugging tools, such as Advanced Debugger, Allinea DDT, AQtime, ARM, CA/EZTEST, etc.
• Ability to manipulate data from various sources / formats, such as flat files, relational databases, non-relational databases, XML, JSON, etc.
• Strong experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design, and documentation protocol, as well as change management procedures
• In-depth understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy
• Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Flexible team player skills
• Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance

• Healthcare and/or Financial domain experience preferred
• Experience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies preferred
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related technical field
