SFCC Full-Stack Developer

Position

Middle+ / Senior SFCC Full‑Stack Developer n our roadmap to architect, engineer, deploy, scale and maintain a new generation of marketplace technologies while supporting our existing custom technology ecosystem.

• Work on flagship websites for globally recognised brands, meeting usability, resilience, performance, scalability and security challenges.
• Build cross‑browser, cross‑device compatible pages following industry best practices.
• Develop templates and content slots using ISML, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, XML, CSS, AJAX and integrate with Pipelines/Controllers on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.
• Architect and define the front‑end framework for complex designs and interactions that reflect user experience and creative proposition.
• Mentor and guide project activities across multiple small to medium sized projects or a large project.
• Shift between creative and technical focus as required by the project needs.
• Develop supporting proposal materials for projects.
• Participate in scoping and planning work.
• Write technical documentation (admin guides), white papers, presentations and contribute to internal processes.

• Proven experience as a Senior Backend developer on the SFCC / Demandware Platform.
• Previous experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) Site Genesis/SFRA framework, Services framework and other platform capabilities.
• Strong grasp of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with front‑end application architecture and development.
• Experience coding modular, object‑oriented JavaScript and JavaScript design patterns (Factory, Strategy, Module, Reveal, Facade, AMD, etc.).
• Well versed with jQuery framework and able to write custom plugins.
• Knowledge of JavaScript MV

  JS (directives, services).
• Hands‑on experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS, STYLUS) and writing modular CSS using SMACSS and Object‑Oriented CSS methodologies.
• Experience with front‑end frameworks such as Bootstrap, Semantic‑ and Foundation.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and writing JavaScript unit tests (Jasmine + Karma).
• Experience with front‑end tooling and custom automation tasks for Grunt.
• Experience architecting and developing front‑end for CMS platforms (SharePoint, Umbraco, Episerver, Sitefinity, Sitecore).
• Maintain and extend back‑end development guidelines and boilerplate for internal and offshore teams.
• Understanding of HTML5 semantic elements and SEO benefits of microdata and Google Rich snippets.
