Remote Senior Data Engineer (AI/ML) (m/f/d) nded in 2017, Room Price Genie  helps hoteliers worldwide set optimal prices in seconds with a state‑of‑the‑art algorithm that analyzes internal hotel data and market trends.

• Collaborate with a Product Manager and a talented team of ML and Backend Engineers.
• Evolve our architecture to seamlessly scale with an increasing number of users, features, and data—help us grow!
• Partner closely with Product and Design teams, taking full ownership of projects from conception through post‑deployment in a dynamic, collaborative setting.
• Cultivate a strong engineering organization and vibrant development culture, fostering an environment where creativity and excellence thrive.

• 5+ years of professional Python experience, ideally in data engineering, backend, or ML infrastructure roles.
• Strong experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines, especially using Dagster.
• Solid experience in dbt: modelling, testing, documentation, and performance optimization.
• Strong working knowledge of Snowflake/Databricks and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong working knowledge of AWS Aurora/RDS (Postgres).
• Help evolve our data platform to handle rapidly scaling users, datasets, and feature complexity.
• Familiarity with essential data libraries (pandas/polars, Num Py) and working with large datasets.
• Strong understanding of software design principles.
• Analytical mindset with interest in statistics, optimization, and data‑driven problem‑solving.
• Excellent communication skills—you can articulate complex ideas clearly and collaborate effectively.
• High ownership mentality—you take pride in your work and drive projects to completion.
• A true team player, egoless and empathetic, who thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Serve as an Individual Contributor reporting to the RM Engine Engineering Manager, influencing our data and architectural direction.
• Fluent in English, able to engage in technical discussions with ease.
• Based in the European Time Zone (UTC+0 / UTC+2) to align with our team’s schedules.
