This position is contingent upon award of the contract.
Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
- Serve as an active member of the software development team participating in daily stand‑ups.
- Responsible for successful delivery of a program to a customer; or manage performance of a task or project as part of a larger program under direction of another PM.
- Manage and integrate activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance.
- Define or contribute to the program baseline then execute the program to comply with baseline requirements.
- Manage risk, customer relationships, and program staffing. Ensure compliance with quality standards and elevate challenges to SAIC leadership.
- Support business development and program staff management. (It should be understood that this is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of any individual employee’s job content.
- Manages a medium size program staff that may include subcontractors or suppliers.
- Conducts financial discussions in coordination with internal cross‑functional team.
- Uses standard, well‑defined processes, procedures, techniques, or tools that may require program‑specific modifications.
- Manage the performance, quality, and responsiveness based on customer SLAs.
- Provide development support, as needed, for solutions deployed to production.
- Implement long‑term solutions and building blocks within the agile framework for improved reusability.
- Interface with the stakeholders for project requirements.
- Promote good software engineering practices such as test automation, modularization, and simplification.
- Collaborate, coordinate with colleagues on various solutions and problems.
- Use Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tools to include Azure Dev Ops and GIT.
Qualifications
Required Skills/
Experience:
- BS Computer Science and minimum 9 years’ software experience. (Four additional years of professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
- Ability to pass background check and maintain status for contract that requires US citizenship.
- At least 5 years experience leading software development teams.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Understanding of Microsoft .NET environment.
- Understanding of REST and SOAP API development.
- Understanding of XML and JSON.
- Understanding of Azure Services.
- Understanding of section 508 and accessibility coding approaches.
- Understanding of MS SQL Server database and SQL.
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops and pipelines;
Agile development using Azure Dev Ops. - Ability to work in team environments across a diverse set of projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Proactive approach to problem solving and a delivery mindset.
- Should participate in Design/Code and System review using agile development process.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills and able to work in a team which consists developers with different skillsets.
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
