Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot and AWS to join our team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in building and deploying scalable applications in cloud environments. Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably at Capital One (Cap1), is preferred but not mandatory.

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.
• Work onsite in Richmond or McLean 3 days a week, collaborating with team members and stakeholders.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying applications in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
