We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineer to drive performance testing and optimization efforts, ensuring robust, scalable, and high‑performing software products. This role is responsible for developing and implementing testing strategies, leading automation initiatives, and ensuring adherence to quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, identify areas for improvement, and drive initiatives that enhance overall performance and reliability. Facilitate delivering highly performant and scalable software through comprehensive performance benchmarking, optimization, and management of performance tools and environments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive performance testing strategies to ensure high‑quality, scalable software delivery.
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using open‑source tools.
- Ensure version control of QA automation code, adhering to best practices for maintainability and efficiency.
- Define and enforce standards and methodologies for quality assurance, including test planning, execution, and automation.
- Lead performance benchmarking, optimization, and management of performance tools and environments to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
- Utilize tools such as Artillery, K6, Locus, JMeter, Load Runner, or other performance testing frameworks to measure and optimize system performance.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate performance bottlenecks, ensuring smooth operation and scalability.
- Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve performance across software products.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites and frameworks to streamline testing and improve efficiency.
- Implement continuous integration and automated deployment testing to improve product reliability.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence of performance issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in software quality assurance and testing automation.
- Work closely with product managers, software developers, and operations teams to align performance testing with business needs.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions to ensure quality‑related insights are incorporated throughout the development lifecycle.
- Lead cross‑functional initiatives to improve quality processes, tools, and methodologies.
- 5–7 years of experience in software quality assurance, performance testing, and automation.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Certifications in QA testing frameworks (e.g., ISTQB Advanced Level, Certified Test Engineer (CSTE), or Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)) are a plus.

- Experience in performance testing methodologies, including scalability assessments.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and best practices in software testing.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to stakeholders across teams.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring thorough testing coverage and accurate defect tracking.
- Proficiency in documentation, including test plans, reports, and performance summaries.
