Fulfil is a venture capital funded, stealth startup in the automation robotics space and is located in Redwood City, CA. Founded by a group of engineers with a history of leading successful startups, we are looking for top talent to join our R&D engineering team. Candidates must be able to take ownership of critical technical projects and work seamlessly within a fast-moving team.

The CV/ML Engineer will work closely with a team of software and mechanical engineers to develop image-based software applications that perform robustly in a production environment, alongside robots and other automation systems. These applications require the use of both classical CV techniques as well as deep learning methods. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in one domain, or a mix of experiences in both domains.

Candidates must have experience in developing object-oriented software with C++ or similar; experience with industrial CV software tools alone (e.g. Cognex, Keyence) is not sufficient. Internships or co-ops are available for college students as well. Please note that this is not a fully remote position.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar
• Extensive project experience in C++, Python, or other object‑oriented language
• At least one year of industry experience, or 1‑2 internships, focused on computer vision
• Experience working with computer vision hardware, libraries (such as OpenCV), and algorithms
• Understanding of data structures and best coding practices
• Idea generation and execution, mostly unsupervised
• Hands‑on aptitude, strong debugging and system analysis skills
• Desire to work in an incredibly fast paced startup environment

• Experience with stereo vision systems and sensor fusion (e.g. Intel Real Sense cameras)
• Expert in Python and C++
• Experience developing production code and contributing to large production code bases
• Application development using deep learning techniques for image‑based datasets
• Experience building multi‑threaded and/or real‑time systems
• Knowledge of classical robotics theory and coordinate transformations
• Experience with databases: SQL, Mongo
