Software Engineering Team Lead (Remote)
Our client is at the forefront of crypto’s cutting-edge technology, and we’re seeking an experienced engineering leader to join their team. This is a fully remote role open to candidates based anywhere.
About the CompanyOur client built the first high-performance Blockchain Distribution Network (BDN) to empower DeFi traders with ultra-low-latency connectivity across Ethereum, BSC, and Polygon. By leveraging a global server network optimized for performance—and backed by investors such as Coinbase—the BDN and accompanying DeFi tools give users a competitive edge in crypto trading. Nodes connect via open-source gateways, and developers can integrate seamlessly through a public API.
ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of software engineers and a Technical Product Manager.
Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of MEV services and mempool-transaction workflows for Ethereum.
Define and deliver product offerings that maximize profit validator gains.
Collaborate with searchers to build tools and services that enhance their trading execution.
Contribute hands‑on code to the BDN and related services, ensuring high performance and scalability.
Foster a culture of rigorous code quality, automated testing, and continuous improvement.
RequirementsLeadership:
Minimum of 2 years managing an engineering team, with a track record of mentoring and scaling high-performing developers.
Backend Architecture:
At least 5 years designing, building, testing, and deploying highly scalable, distributed backend systems.
Blockchain
Experience:
3+ years working in blockchain engineering.
Technical
Skills:
Deep proficiency in Go (Golang) for backend development.
Problem Solving & Communication:
Exceptional analytical skills, the ability to break down complex challenges, and clear, concise communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
