Job Description & How to Apply Below
We are dedicated to building the next generation of intelligent work infrastructure.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Software Engineer. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining back-end systems, writing efficient code, and implementing software solutions. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, adhering to best practices in software development, and solving complex technical problems. The role involves participating in code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving our engineering processes.
Qualifications
Required:
• 5+ years of full-time experience at a high-growth SaaS or AI startup (preferably Series A–C stage)
• Deep hands-on expertise with:
• JavaScript/Type Script (ES6+), including advanced async/await patterns and functional programming
• Node.js (Express, NestJS, or custom-built service layers)
• React (with Hooks, state management via Redux, Zustand, or Recoil)
• Postgre
SQL or equivalent RDBMS with complex query optimization experience
• REST and Graph
QL APIs, including schema design and auth layers
• Demonstrated ownership of large-scale features (examples required in interview)
• Experience integrating with or deploying production-grade LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions, Circle
CI, or similar
• Comfort working fully remote with async collaboration tools (Notion, Slack, Linear, Loom)
• Fluent in written and spoken English; must be able to write crisp technical documentation
Preferred:
• Prior work in globally distributed teams across 2+ time zones
• Experience with authentication systems, rate limiting, or multi-tenant architecture
• Exposure to cloud-native infra: AWS Lambda, ECS, Cloud Front, S3, Vercel
• Experience with Open Telemetry, Sentry, or similar observability stacks
• Side project or Git Hub repo demonstrating relevant skillsets
• BS or MS in Computer Science or closely related technical discipline
Red Flags for This Role
• No public code samples, open-source contributions, or recent commit history
• Generic answers about previous experience (we will ask for specific systems, metrics, teammates)
• Resume keywords copied directly from job description language
• Timezone inconsistencies or unexplained delays in live video scheduling
Bonus Points
• Experience with AI/ML integration, OpenAI API, or LLM tooling
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, or observability stacks
• Interest in new tools like Lang Chain, Bun, or edge functions
• Prior experience building productivity or collaboration tools
What We Offer
• Fully remote work environment (U.S. time zones preferred, flexible for global)
• Competitive salary: $165k–$225k USD, plus equity
• Quarterly offsites in global locations (optional but encouraged)
• Home office stipend and top-tier equipment
• Async-first team culture: freedom to work when you're most productive
