• Experience with Adobe Commerce Cloud (Magento Commerce) is preferred.
• Ability to convert Figma or PSD designs into pixel-perfect, responsive Magento sites.
• Preferred experience includes data migration, Magento plugin/module development, theme development, and headless or decoupled Magento implementations.
• Basic server management knowledge (e.g., configuring hosting environments, performance tuning, or deployment processes) is a plus.
• Experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWA), headless Magento architectures, or modern frontend frameworks (Magento PWA Studio, Vue Storefront, etc.) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Graph
  
  QL APIs, microservices-based architectures, and API-first integrations is preferred.
• Desirable knowledge includes AI/ML-driven e-commerce features, personalized recommendations, and Core Web Vitals performance optimization.
• Understanding of omnichannel commerce (online, marketplaces, POS integration) and scalable cloud deployment best practices is a plus.
• Expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, and CSS3

• A portfolio with live links to previously developed sites (preferred).
• A Magento Certification (preferred).
• Expertise in other platforms such as Word Press (preferred).
• Ability to work in a LAMP development environment.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Great attention to detail and a highly organized work style.
• Professional articulation and excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to adapt in a diverse and multicultural environment.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PST.
• A positive, upbeat attitude, and passion for building a startup.
• A reliable remote workstation setup (fast computer, microphone, speakers, reliable internet, and power).

• Daily development utilizing PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, JQuery, and the Zend Framework.
• Building Magento Community websites and other platforms.
• Converting PSDs into pixel-perfect custom PHP sites.
• Resolving cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Writing cleanly structured and well-documented code.
• Integrating data with Sage, Quick Books, Word Press, Salesforce, general APIs, and ERP/stock management systems.
• Working within a LAMP development environment and utilizing version control (GIT/SVN).

Compensation Disclosure: Starting base pay for this position in California, New York, Washington, and Colorado ranges between $17 - $35 per hour. Compensation factors include experience, qualifications, skills test performance, geographic location, and seniority. Pay outside these states may fall outside the specified range.
