Senior Python Developer (Lead) – Remote

Are you a Senior Python Developer looking to help shape the future of how schools use technology to empower learners across the UK? We are searching for a Senior Python Developer / Lead Python Developer who can guide a talented engineering team and push the boundaries of what cloud-native EdTech can be. You will be working with technologies such as Python, Flask, Vue and AWS.

Location: 100% work from home / Remote

Salary: £55k - £62k base plus great benefits

Seniority level: Mid-Senior level

• Champion engineering excellence, define best practices, inspire and mentor developers.
• Drive Agile delivery and design scalable, robust AWS-based systems using modern Infrastructure-as-Code approaches.
• Own the development and deployment of scalable Python applications, microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines and containerised deployments to support rapid growth.

• Strong background in Python development with deep knowledge of AWS, containers, and automation.
• Experience with full stack development, including Flask framework and Vue.
• Hands‑on experience with serverless, AI, or EdTech is a bonus.
• Passion for leadership and the confidence to steer a team through rapid growth.
